Day 3: Wednesday, March 14th

After I was given some information on last year's stats, I was able to start compiling that information in to graphics for the 2011 annual report.  Since my mentor, Teresa, was out today spending time with her young daughter I spent most of the day working on my own on my assigned tasks.  I spent most of the morning experimenting with different possibilities, but ended up downloading Adobe Photoshop onto my laptop in order to create better graphics.  The type of thing I'm trying to do is commonly referred to as "infographics." I have never really worked with infographics before and because of this I was having some difficulty on how to convey their information to the public in an interesting way.  After Photoshop finally downloaded I was able to jump into this assignment which I will work to try to finish tomorrow morning.  Now that I'm on a good path with it I don't think that it will take all too long.  For lunch I was able to visit Sara Martin, who is interning up at the college working with athletes and studying Physical Therapy with their main PT.
