Day 5: Friday, March 16th

For the beginning of my day I worked with Adobe Illustrator and InDesign (tutorials and portfolios) to help me become more familiar... At about 11:30 Ryan, the other 4CORE intern, and I went to pick up drinks and lunch for a meeting with the 4CORE state holders and board members. This meeting also featured the infographics that I created over the past couple of days, which Teresa said were a hit!  Not staying for the actual meeting, but just to set up, we got back around 12:30.  In the afternoon I worked mainly by myself working on a new project- the information hub.  The information hub is what I was considering to be one of my bigger projects.  It is set up like a spider web-graph, (4CORE's logo) that will be filled with information, success stories, and pictures.  This weekend I will try to get a hold of 4CORE's photographer to get access to some pictures, and then I will be able to start compiling the media.  I think that if I work on this "hub" at least for half an hour everyday, or more it will take me for the rest of my internship to complete.  Some other things that I will be able to start working on are compiling the surveys taken from the meeting today into some graphs, as well as transferring it into a Google Form so it can be sent off to other people to take as well.
