Day 6: Monday, March 19th
The second week of my internship definitely has a slightly different feel than the first week. 4CORE is in the middle of a transition, and today was the first day that these changes have really taken affect. Employees have gone down from 13 to 9, and we are starting to move desks and supplies from the second office into the first office. This other room will soon seat everyone versus being split up into two separate rooms. About an hour into my day there was an office meeting that lasted all the way into lunch regarding the transition and the list of to-do's. After lunch I jumped into creating a survey from one Gregg had typed up for Fridays meeting with 4CORE's partners. I also input all of the information from the filled-out surveys on Friday, and with that made some simple graphs from the feedback. Rachael then came to visit 4CORE for a few minutes and check-in! As the day is pretty horrible outside... this was a slight "adventure" for her to get here. Teresa and I plan on doing the Mentor Interview tomorrow sometime during the move so that I can get that onto my DP LINK page as well as my LINK blog. My internship is still going smoothly despite all of the office changes occurring this week. Tomorrow I will work more on the Information HUB which I am still considering to be the larger of my projects to complete, as well as working with Teresa and Gregg to complete the Home Rx program format. I have been able to stay on task for the remainder of the day and try to get as much work as possible done as to have more time to help the office move tomorrow. (I have a feeling it will be a little hectic...)
