Day 4: Thursday, March 15th

Today was a really satisfying day as an intern.  Although I mostly stayed in the office and worked on the computer, I think I got a substantial amount of work done.
4CORE is working to complete their annual report for 2011.  This report consists of statistics of progress over the previous year as well as to date.  There are graphs with descriptions, all of which I completed today.  These graphs I tried to make different this year by making them be more aesthetically pleasing and easy to follow.  (Not just all pie or bar graphs which is how it previously was).  I also completed re-doing a document of 4CORE's.  The original "step-up" diagram was a little overwhelmed with words and hard to follow, but by redoing it and adding a color aspect, Teresa, Gregg and Claire all "Ok-ed" the new one I made.
Teresa was able to make it in today, so I was able to work with her to get her input on changes to be made to my graphics for the annual report as well as the "step-up" diagram.
I feel good at where I am so far into my internship and my project ideas could change a lot to be more focused on my work with the annual report versus several small project.

Below are the graphs and new hand out I created.

Weatherized homes in the region.

Money brought to region through grants/contributions due to 4CORE.

Health factor in homes inspected by 4CORE.

Information requests fulfilled by 4CORE.

Energy savings ($).

New "step-up" document.
